A warm hello from the land Down Under!
So great to see these forums, and to see other Khaled fans from around the world.
Khaled is not so well known in Australia, though he is famous to anyone who appreciates non-western or 'world' music (are we allowed to discuss other Rai artists and Arabic music we like as well?)
For me it all started three years ago when I first heard the live rendition of 'Abdel Kader' from the concert album 1-2-3-Soleil, with Khaled, Rachid Taha and Cheb Faudel singing with this huge orchestra. How I wish I could have been at that concert, sounds amazing!
